Seeking Members!

The Burnaby Interfaith Network is seeking new members!

Are you interested in working with people of other faiths to move Burnaby forward as a welcoming and inclusive community? If so, this is the group for you. Founded in 2010, we include members of an array of faiths/faith groups as well as community agencies, public services, settlement services, allied inter-faith organizations, and advocacy groups.

We strive to make Burnaby a place where people of different faiths live together in harmony and respect each other’s beliefs.

Membership is open to persons living, working or volunteering in Burnaby and non-profit societies active in Burnaby. It is not necessary to espouse a personal faith to participate in the Advisory Committee. However, it is required that you respect the personal faith beliefs of others in an inter-faith context. The goal of the Network is to have a balanced membership that represents the full faith/community diversity of Burnaby.

Generally, the Network meets 5 times in a calendar year during the day (usually Monday mornings). A one year commitment or more is preferred. For more information please email burnabyinterfaith@gmail.com.
