Burnaby National Aboriginal Day Celebration!

Join us for Burnaby’s first ever National Aboriginal Day Celebration! June 21st is a special day to celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.

Afternoon Celebration
*activities focused on elementary school aged children. All are welcome. However, registration is required as space is limited. Please email socialplanning@burnaby.ca or call 604-294-7421 by June 17th.

1:15 - 2:45 / Various kid’s activities

Community Dinner and Celebration
Everyone is welcome at this free, family-friendly event!
5:15 / Traditional Welcome
5:45 / Performance by the Musqueam Nation Wolf Pack dance troupe!
6:15 - 7:15 / Food (tasty stew and bannock) is served until supplies run out. Arrive early to avoid disappointment!
